The NICEIC assessors were here at MS Electrical last week, and we’re pleased to confirm that we’ve passed our annual inspection again.
The assessment follows a standard format, with two distinct elements. The first element is an office-based assessment, while the second is a site-based assessment.
The office assessment sees the inspectors review our paperwork and processes to make sure that all procedures are in place to support the electrical safety testing we undertake for clients. The site assessment then comprises three site visits to doublecheck that any testing work we carried out for them met the technical standards that are needed to achieve compliance. It also checks that the test results that are recorded are accurate as a sample of circuits are retested to evaluate the results against the reports issued.
Gaining a pass in all areas underlines the professionalism of our team of engineers and the attention to detail of our administration staff. It’s also reassuring for all our current clients, because it emphasises that they can continue to engage us for their PAT testing and fixed wire testing with complete confidence in our abilities and processes.
